INTRODUCTION – Used of Pushalert Apps in WordPress’s website.

PushAlert provides you a simple way to send Firefox and Chrome browser push notifications to mobile and desktop users, even when they’re not on your website or browser is closed. It also provides other features which can increase your reach as well as user engagement – A/B Notifications, Segmentation, RSS Push, Welcome Notification, Email Push, Advanced Targeting and several others.

INSTRUCTIONS :

1. Register at PushAlert for free with basic details and confirm your account – pushalert.co.

2. Log in to your account and add your website details like URL, default title & icon (192×192 pixels).

3. Once activated you will be able to see your Website ID and REST API key inside your Dashboard settings. We will need these later, so keep them handy.

4. Now, login to your WordPress dashboard and go to the Plugins section and then hit Add New.

5. Search for PushAlert and then install it. Alternatively, you can download the plugin from here and install it manually by clicking on Upload Plugin.

6. Jump into the PushAlert plugin settings, and now we need to fill the data we gathered in Step 1. Add the Website ID and REST API key here along with the default title for your notifications and we are all set.

7. That’s it, you will now start receiving subscribers for your notifications and you can also send notifications directly from the WordPress editor.
